Add a Mobile Hotspot Data Boost

Purchasing a Mobile Hotspot Data Boost gives your line more high-speed hotspot data. Use the My Verizon app to quickly get back to full speed.

Before you begin

Data Boosts aren't available on Start Unlimited, Just Kids and Go Unlimited.

A Mobile Hotspot Data Boost only returns Mobile Hotspot use to 4G LTE/5G/5G UW speed data for the line for which you bought the Data Boost.

Open the

My Verizon app

Depending on your plan, tap the 'Mobile' or 'Home' tab.

Tap

Usage

If necessary, tap the

Down arrow icon

next to the device and select the appropriate line.

Select

Add a Mobile Hotspot Data Boost

then tap

Review the Hotspot Data Boost screen then tap

Purchase data boost

From the Choose Line screen, tap

Select

below the desired line.

Tap

Confirm
