Samsung Galaxy Note8 - View / Manage Home Screen Panels

Here's how to view / add / remove panels and set a default Home screen panel for your Galaxy Note8.
From a Home screen, swipe left or right to navigate the extended Home screen panels. Follow the steps below to add or remove panels or set a default panel.

Add Panel

The panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Swipe right to the add panel screen (screen with a plus (+) symbol) then tap the screen.

Remove Panel

  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Swipe left or right to the preferred panel.
  3. Tap the
    Trashcan icon Trashcan icon
    at the top of the panel.

Set Default Panel

The default Home panel appears when the Home icon Home icon (at the bottom) is touched.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  2. Swipe left or right to the preferred panel.
  3. Tap the
    Home icon Home icon
    (at the top).
