ASUS ZenPad™ Z8s - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to your ZenPad Z8s to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secure remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    More
    VPN
    .
  3. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Set Up Screen Lock for assistance.
  4. Tap the
    Add icon
    Add icon.
  5. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    If needed, contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  6. Tap the Type field
    dropdown menu dropdown menu icon
    then select the appropriate VPN type.
  7. Enter the needed info into the applicable fields then tap
    SAVE
    .
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following options, which may vary depending on the selected VPN type:
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
    • Username
    • Password
