Here's how to restart your ZenPad Z8s if it crashes and resets, freezes or runs slowly.
Restarting your ASUS ZenPad™ Z8s can help if you experience continuous resetting / rebooting, crashing, freezing, or if the touchscreen is unresponsive.
  1. Press and hold the
    Power button
     on the right edge of the device until the 'Power off' prompt appears then release.
    If the device is unresponsive, press and hold the
    Volume down and Power button
     on the right edge for approximately 20 seconds or until the screen turns off then release.
  2. Tap
    Restart
    .
  3. Tap
    OK
     to confirm.
    The process may take up to 90 seconds to complete.
    If your device won't power back on, partially charge the device then retry.
