Connect a Host Device via My Verizon app

Change your standalone device (e.g., smartwatch, etc.) to a Number Share line via the My Verizon app and link it to a smartphone. This allows the accessory to share your host line's phone number for calls and text messages.

Before you begin

This process does not apply to the Apple® Watch (Series 3).
Changes may take up to 15 minutes to appear.

Steps

  1. Open the
    My Verizon app
    .
  2. Tap the
    Mobile tab
    .
  3. Tap
    Manage devices
    .
  4. Tap
    Device management
     then tap
    Manage Number Share
    .
  5. Below the connected device (e.g., Samsung Galaxy Watch, Palm, etc.), tap
    Convert to NumberShare
    .
    This option is unavailable if a Number Share compatible smartphone isn't available on the account.
  6. Review the info then tap
    Continue
    .
  7. Tap
    Select
     under the smartphone number you'd like to Number Share with.
  8. If prompted to share number, tap
    Confirm
    .
  9. Tap
    Done
    .
