Turn Assisted Dialing On / Off - Motorola Smartphones

Here's how to check dialing settings if you're getting an error message when placing calls.
  • Assisted dialing allows the phone to automatically assign global dialing settings.
  • Assisted dialing settings are not available on all prepaid Motorola smartphones.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Phone
    .
  2. From the Phone screen, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  3. Tap
    Settings
    .
  4. Tap
    Calls
    .
  5. Tap
    Assisted dialing
    .
  6. Tap the
    Assisted dialing checkbox
     to enable or disable.
    Turning the phone off then back on is recommended after changes are made.
  7. If needed, tap an option to set up easy international call dialing while roaming:
    • Current country
    • Reference country
