Turn Assisted Dialing On / Off - LG Smartphones

Here's how to change call settings if you're getting an error message when making calls.
Assisted dialing allows the phone to automatically assign global dialing settings. Steps may vary for standard and prepaid devices.

Standard

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Phone
    .
  2. From the Phone screen, tap the
    Menu icon
     .
  3. Tap
    Assisted dialing
     to turn on or off.
    On when checkmark appears

Prepaid

  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Phone
     .
  2. From the Phone screen, tap the
    Menu icon
     .
  3. Tap
    Assisted dialing
     to enable or disable the feature.
    Powering the phone off then back on is recommended after changes are made.
  4. If needed, tap
    Call settings
     to change the Assisted dialing 'Reference country' for easy international call dialing while roaming.
