Verizon Messages (Message+) - 4G Basic Phone - Create and Send a Text Message

Here's how to create and send a text message on your 4G basic phone via Verizon Messages (Message+).
  1. From the main screen, select
    Menu
    .
    Utilize the 5-way navigation pad to highlight and press the center button to select.
  2. Select
    Message+
     Message plus icon.
    If prompted with 'first time set up' screen:
    1. Press the
      right soft key
       soft key (to the right of the navigation pad) to choose Accept.
      A 'Please wait starting service' screen appears.
    2. Select 'Don't Restore' or 'Restore'.
  3. Press the
    left soft key
    to choose New Message.
  4. From the 'To:' field, enter a 10-digit mobile number or a contact name.
    As the number or contact is entered, a matching contact may appear and can be selected at any time.
  5. If preferred, press the
    right soft key
    to choose Options then select from the following:
    • Select Threads
    • Settings
    • Privacy Policy
    • Terms and Conditions
  6. Compose message then select
    Send
    .
