Here's how to view sync settings on your Galaxy S8 / S8+ if you're not receiving email and app notifications.
  1. Open the
    Settings app

  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Account
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate account then tap
    Sync account
    .
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  4. Turn the sync settings on or off as applicable.
    A setting is turned on when the switch is in the blue position.
