Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - View / Manage Home Screen Panels

Here's how to view / add / remove panels and set a default Home screen panel for your Galaxy S8 / S8+.
The panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.
The default panel appears when the Home button is pressed.

Add Panel

  1. From a Home screen, swipe left to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
    By default, there are 2 Home screen panels.
  2. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  3. Tap the
    Plus panel
     + (furthest to the right).

Remove Panel

  1. From a Home screen, swipe left to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
    By default, there are 2 Home screen panels.
  2. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  3. Touch and hold a panel.
  4. Tap the
    Remove icon
     Remove icon (upper-right).

Set Default Panel

  1. From a Home screen, swipe left to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
    By default, there are 2 Home screen panels.
  2. From a Home screen, touch and hold a blank area.
  3. Swipe to the preferred panel.
  4. Tap the
    House icon
     Home screen panel icon (top of the panel).
