GPS location access is needed by some apps on your Galaxy S8 / S8+ to provide turn-by-turn directions or share your location, but can be turned off to save battery life.
  1. Open the
    Settings app

  2. Navigate:
    Biometrics and security
    Location
    .
  3. Tap the
    Location switch
     to turn on or off.
  4. If presented with the Location consent screen, tap
    Agree
    .
  5. If presented with Google Location consent, tap
    Agree
    .
