ASUS ZenPad™ Z10 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to your ZenPad Z10 to encrypt your internet traffic and protect your online identity via a secure remote server.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    More
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     Add icon.
  4. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Set Up Screen Lock for assistance.
  5. From the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
    If needed, contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  6. From the IPsec connection type field, tap the
    dropdown menu
     dropdown menu icon then select the appropriate VPN type.
  7. Enter the appropriate info into the applicable fields then tap
    Save
    .
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following, which may vary depending on the selected VPN type:
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Forwarding routes
