To keep your music, videos and photos updated on your Apple® iPhone® without using cables, Wi-Fi sync with iTunes® offers a convenient wireless solution.

Before you begin

Verify Wi-Fi is turned on and the latest iTunes® version is installed on your computer.
After following the steps below, the device syncs automatically with your computer; make sure your iPhone is powered on, plugged into power, connected to Wi-Fi and to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
When tethered, iTunes opens automatically on your computer.

Steps

  1. Open iTunes on your computer.
  2. Select the iPhone under 'Devices' in the left column.
  3. Click
    Summary
     on the left side of the iTunes window.
  4. Click
    Sync with this [device] over Wi-Fi
    .
  5. Click
    Apply
