Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016) - Set Lock Screen Notifications

Here's how to manage how notifications appear on your Samsung Galaxy J3 V / J3 (2016) when the screen is locked.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Do one of the following:
    • For J3 V model:
      1. Navigate:
        Lock screen and security
        Notifications
        .
      2. Tap the
        Notifications switch
         to turn on or off.
      3. When on, configure any of the following:
        Options may vary depending on screen lock type.
        • Hide content
        • Notification icons only
        • Show notifications from
    • For J3 Prepaid model:
      1. Navigate:
        Lock screen and security
        Notifications on lock screen
        .
      2. Tap
        Content on lock screen
         then select an option (Show content, Hide content, Do not show notifications).
      3. Tap 'All apps' or tap individual apps to turn on or off.
