Here's how to place a call using your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Phone
     Phone icon (lower-left).
    If not available, swipe up or down from the center of the display then tap
    Phone
     Phone icon.
  2. Perform one of the following:
    • Enter a 10-digit number then tap the
      Phone icon
       Phone icon (at the bottom).
      If necessary, tap the
      Dialpad icon
       Dialpad icon (lower-right).
    • From the CONTACTS tab (upper-right), select a contact then tap
      Call
      .
