Here's how to turn Android beam for your Galaxy S7 / S7 edge on or off.
Android Beam can be used to transfer data (e.g., web pages, videos, place page in Maps) from one Near Field Communication (NFC) capable device to another when only a few centimeters apart, typically back-to-back.
  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Connections
    NFC and payment
    .
  3. Ensure the NFC and payment switch is turned on.
    If prompted, review the notification then tap
    OK
     to confirm.
  4. Tap the
    Android Beam switch
     to turn on or off.
