Capturing a screenshot on your Apple® iPad® is an easy way to preserve messages, images or anything else you might need to reference later.

Steps

  1. Do one of the following:
    • For iPad without a Home button:
      1. Simultaneously press then quickly release the
        Power button
         and the
        Volume up button
        .
      2. To view the screenshot you've taken, open the
        Photos app
         then tap the image.
    • For iPad with a Home button:
      1. Simultaneously press then quickly release the
        Power button
         and the
        Volume up button
        .
      2. To view the screenshot you've taken, open the
        Photos app
         then tap the image.
