Link / Unlink Contacts - LG G Pad™ X8.3

Your G Pad X8.3 lets you organize your contacts based on your preference by merging the details of multiple entries or separating them.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (e.g., Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, Facebook®, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, it can be separated back into individual contacts.
  1. Open the
    Contacts app
     then tap the applicable contact.
  2. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To links contacts:
      1. Tap
        Merge
        .
      2. Tap the applicable contact.
        If the preferred contact doesn't appear under Suggested contacts, tap
        Show all contacts
        .
    • To unlink contacts:
      1. Tap
        Separate
        .
      2. From the Separate contacts prompt, tap
        Yes
        .
