Here's how to extend battery life, view charging status / remaining battery and determine what uses the most power on your LG G Pad™ X8.3.

View Battery Life

Open the

Settings app

Tap

Battery

Review the current battery status.

Battery life is measured by standby time, talk time and data usage.

Tap

Battery usage

From the Battery Usage Level section, review the line graph.

From the Battery Usage Details section, review the usage details (e.g., Screen, Android OS, Cell standby, etc.).

To improve battery life, you can:

Disable or uninstall apps (e.g., live wallpapers, etc.) that are consuming too much battery or RAM or aren't being used.

Contact the app developer if an app appears to cause excessive battery drain.

Adjust brightness to the lowest setting.

Turn off GPS when not in use.

If turned off, certain apps or services may not work properly.

Remove widgets that automatically update.
